Designed specifically for teens and families, this workshop will challenge old assumptions and beliefs, examine boundary setting and assertiveness issues, promote creative thinking and problem solving, and encourage self-empowerment and self-awareness. Interactive activities with horses focus on family dynamics and bring relational issues to the surface for discussion and processing. Parents and their children will learn better communication and cooperation skills while having fun with horses! Though a single parent or teen from one family may attend individually, whole or partial family units are encouraged to attend together.
“The opportunity to matter-of-factly tell my son the issues that concern me and then to go into the activity and let it come up without addressing it head-on was wonderful. Soooo perfect for resistant people like my son.”[an error occurred while processing this directive]
